He was a legislative and communications aide to three members of Congress, and later was an editor for The Weekly Standard, where he covered public policy debates and campaigns and appeared regularly on CNN, Fox News, and syndicated radio. He most recently was a communications strategist for the nonprofit Protect Democracy, where he worked on cross-partisan coalitions to support the independence of law enforcement and checks & balances legislation.
