Seth London

Seth London is a campaign strategist who has spent the past ten years at the nexus of politics, technology and entrepreneurship. He’s worked in the White House, on three presidential campaigns and, most recently, the two leading venture capital firms that specialize in helping startups operate in heavily regulated industries.

Prior to starting Ground Control, Seth was the first employee and a Managing Director at Tusk Ventures where he ran multi-state campaigns for some of the world’s most pioneering startups. Seth was also a Director at Revolution where he created the Rise of the Rest Tour: an effort to catalyze entrepreneurship in the heartland and industrial cities across the United States. Rise of the Rest is now celebrating its 5th year and will invest over $150 million in seed stage startups.

Seth’s first job in politics was in the Office of Senator Edward M. Kennedy.  In early 2007, he left Washington for Iowa to join then-Senator Obama’s long-shot presidential campaign. He subsequently held leadership roles in key battleground states including Ohio, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota, where he was State Director and General Election Director in 2012.

Between campaigns, Seth served as a Legislative Assistant and Associate Director in the White House Office of Legislative Affairs. He also served on the 2008 Presidential Transition Team, where he coordinated the transition of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), and the 2012 Presidential Inaugural Committee, where he oversaw engagement with thousands of nonprofits and social entrepreneurs.

Seth was a Magna Cum Laude graduate from the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University and recipient of the Presidential Achievement Scholarship. A Chicago native and proud Midwesterner, Seth currently lives in New York City.
